Education is at the core of what Family Uplift Uganda promotes within vulnerable communities. We believe that education plays a great role in poverty alleviation and economic empowerment in a household.
Under this project, well wishers and sponsors donate funds to support with school fees for children in primary, youths in secondary and in universities.
Additionally, we have established the Children Literacy Clubs where we have engaged with children from the rural communities of Mafubira, Mpumudde, and Nsakabusololo to participate in literacy clubs with an aim of promoting basic education.
These clubs focus on core subjects such as math and English, ensuring that children who are unable to attend school due to financial constraints have access to fundamental learning opportunities. In addition to providing education, the literacy clubs also serve as safe spaces for children to interact and grow. Since 2020, Family Uplift Uganda (FUU) has reached over 213 children through this initiative. FUU collaborates with local teachers and community organizations to deliver these impactful programs.
